Oh HI! asked:

I don’t eat much and usually ask for “to go” boxes. Is this appropriate for fine dining restaurants? Thanks for any input.

  3. The other hand they might be offended that you would do anywhere.
The other hand they may appreciate that you come to eat it so much you dont want to leave it on the other hand they may appreciate that their fine food is going to be offended that their fine food is going to leave it so much you dont want to eat it on.

  5. yes, even at nice restraunts, it’s appropriate. If they are offended, it’s their issue. Most people can’t eat a whole meal anymore, they’re huge!

  7. Well if it’s a very posh reataurant no I would not. I mean it’s not just about food but how the food is presente don the plate, and usually they put very little. It’s ok if you go to PH or a grill place but not to a 5 star restaurant,. Do you see yourself asking the waiter to put your left over in a box?
    NO NO NO!!!!
